Being very curious to the actuall hp, i did some searching for some equations, IL got 443 hp at the rear wheels, very impressive, so actually hp at the crank counting in a 20% loss is in the 530-550 range! hot damn!
Look so say it has 545 hp, 20% of that is 109.2, then subtract it from 545 and you get 435.8, just under what IL got at the wheels!
heres a site to check for yourselves

This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines. Yeah, it’s halftime America. And, our second half is about to begin.

Can someone double check my math?

Hot damn! And that's without the aid of a blower. The Z28 will have its work cut out for it. I can't wait for the 392 to make its way into the Grand Cherokee.

i've been reading from various places that IL's dyno might not be calibrated for SAE ratings, which is why it's having pretty much every car worth dyno-ing coming out "underrated"

but HOPEFULLY the Challenger makes 540 crank HP because that would just be badass

Id believe it. The 392 crate version of this engine is rated at 525hp with a carb and 550hp with fuel injection.

Maybe HotRod will get their hands on one and do a test.... But this thing needs a turbo, and I too can not wait til the GC SRT8 drool

Heck even if it only turns out to be like 510 thats still impressive, without a blower, i want another dnyo now!
