Me As a Mod... and Problems that Persist
I'm posting this here because it is the main forum, but will also have it linked to the Forum Talk.
It has come to my attention that some of U think that I delete posts or threads that I don't like simply because U believe that I don't like U. Let me be the first to say that I only delete duplicate threads. I used to merge them, but was asked by ALUX to simply delete them because when they were merged the link to Facebook was broken. The only posts that I normally delete are Duplicates as well. For some reason posts by GOT Mopar and ALL-Of-Nothing are always followed by a repost. I assume they are using a very slow internet connection and it the POST button twice. The other posts I might edit or delete are ones that are Racial or Homophobic.. and have even slacked off the ones dealing with Homosexual behavior because people who I thought it would defend continue to engage in the conversations like it isn't a big deal. Yes.. it was me who deleted the post in the CFCC or was it Off-Topic with the video of the dude jumping up and down in the nude. That shit was creepy as it was against the rules. Anyway... It often bewilders me how the same people who complain that I'm so unfair are some of the same ones who instigate the situations that lead to my aggressive stance. The "Leaf" thread title was changed because the title was an out and out lie... and despite the fact that it was copied from Autoguide in that form it was still a lie. Why the hell would some one copy their title and believe it to be FACT when the content of the article clearly states the real deal??? Yes... I hate Asian cars.. have little respect for European cars..and despise people who try and defend them over the Domestics.. but that has never influenced my Moderation. Anyway.. if U have an issue with my moderation, or believe that I edited your thread wrongfully or without cause... bring it to my attention.. ![]() |

When you try and tell me that Prince is the best singer ever it makes me really really angry.
I'll be the first to admit that there are some things the F-Series does better than the Silverado. And by that I mean "donate it's back axle to the company's sporty car." |

Not only did you change the title but you removed the article which had no quotations and replaced it with an Autoblog article I never even linked to just to say I left the quotations out. You are so full of shit.

RE: Me As a Mod... and Problems that Persist
I don't have a problem with you as a member, honestly. It's other issues that are known and been presented many times before.
I guess it's because of the experience I've had as Mod and such, but their are some things that simply irk me when it comes to the position. When you hold a rank like this, you have GOT to prevent yourself from being a target. You have to appear completely level headed and willing to listen to the issues. Having the bias you do can present a challenge because you may not know it, but it sets yourself up as someone to not take seriously. It's fine to have a personal bias, but you need to keep from acting on it in such an extreme way. Calling somebody weak, are a bitch just makes you seem like a bully, and sets yourself up as being seen as joke. I can tell you that when I started on MT, I was way biased. GM only. I liked BMW and some other companies but it was GM first. After being in an in charge level, I had to present myself as an unbiased person. It makes for a better presentation of yourself, and gives the forum a better first impression. I'm not telling you to step down, but it might be a good idea because nobody wants to see you castrated and loving Honda. Some people are great at the position just because of the way they present themselves. You and Neburg might be as good as each other in the moderation, but when it comes to asking questions, you know I'll go to 'Burg because It's like I can trust him. It's just something that happens to anybody. We might not see eye to eye, and you may think nothing of me, maybe hate me, but I don't hate you. Honestly, why hate somebody you have never even seen the face of? ![]() |

RE: Me As a Mod... and Problems that Persist
Waah waah waaah you changed my title boo hoo.
And then if it usnt that, some fuck nugget starts complaining that their thread wasnt racist, or their god doesnt exist thread is important.. My advice to all is to grow the fuck up and let your balls drop bitches. “The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.” |
