2009 Honda Civic LX Coupe review.
This is the other car I drove, and I prefer this one to the Pilot, just because it's just so damn fun. rockon

Exterior: I like the Atomic Blue Metallic, it's different and nice, but there's something I can't put my finger on as why I don't like the color, (NO NOT BECAUSE IT'S A CHICK COLOR!) but maybe the wheels on the car have to do something with it. I don't like how the Civic Coupe looks, the front is fine since it's about 80% similar to the sedan but the rear is just barf vomit inducing. Although it works fine and it isn't disproportionate like some other cars, I just don't like the design of it. I like the sedan better and I wish she got the sedan instead of the weird looking coupe. brickwall
The wheels, don't get me started on them since they're retarded wheel covers that belong on a cheap Hyundai Accent or Nissan Versa, not a Civic. Exterior get's a 4 because the coupe imo isn't a pretty car, it's hideous, the sedan would get a 8 because it just looks so much better.

Interior: Like the Pilot, it's great, and I take back everything I said about the two-tier dash, it works perfectly! The speedometer is right in my field of view, I don't even need to look down to figure out how fast I'm going! The interior is grey with cloth and the seats are good, and the rear seat is surprisingly great, even my sister's friends who are 6'4" said they were comfortable in the back. It's really roomy for a go-kart :yeeees: which is big points in my book. Radio is good, and all the controls are right were they should be and they're high quality. Sure the interior isn't the prettiest, but everything works out perfectly so it get's a perfect 10.

Driving it: This car is exactly like the Gumpert Apollo (meaning the Civic isn't exactly pretty but it's one helluva fun car to drive). Steering is light and the car responds to your every move, tight corners are a joke and the car stops on a dime. The engine is extremely lively, even with an automatic transmission! It's absolutely perfect, if the new Civic is anything like this Civic, I'll buy one cause it's just so much fucking fun to drive badass Now I must drive the Si version, I can't imagine how much fun it'll be! drool The driving experience is just perfect, perfect 10 once again cause it's just so easy and damn fun!

Overall this car earns a 9, the interior perfect, same with the driving experience, now I just wish it was the sedan and not the coupe, it's just so much fucking fun I can't describe it!

Our civic looks like this, although this car is an EX and I have an LX [Image: 39415517-640.jpg]

How could I have drove a Gumpert? laugh I was making a reference to it by saying that the Gumpert isn't really pretty but it drives like a monster, and that's the case with the Civic. I'll just clarify it in my main review.

If you call this a 10, do yourself a favor and drive an MX-5. You'll fall in love!

I hate to say it but the MX-5 makes a lot of cars look superfluous. If you like this Civic, drive any EG civic or anything before 1999.

Yeah, before power steering was heavily represented. Those Civics felt so natural....

They had power steering in the 90s.

I know, but its a big difference from then and now.

Take the new Accords. I drove a coupe once, and while it was really nice, my old 2000 felt more natural in its steering. Didn't deliver as much feedback (that could be a good thing, but still) nor feel.

Nice review Zeep, the civics are fun to drive in the corners and twisties if you keep the revs up, your sis is lucky she has the new gen with 140hp, because mine is way underpowered with only 115hp.[/u]

This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines. Yeah, it’s halftime America. And, our second half is about to begin.

I like the look of your generation Civic over my sisters imo.

I like it too, its looks good without being overdone or boring, I wish mine had your sisters engine though lol

Nice review zeep.
Civics are among the best in their class and highest selling. You've pointed out exactly why.
That Civic will run for decades without any issues.

Excellent car, this review just makes me want to buy one of the new Civics.

I'm thinking the same thing too, the more I drive the Civic, the more I want one I can call my own.
One like this would be great

:speechless:

I can't get excited about the new Civic. I'm sure it'll be nice, but looks are gone, the interior somehow looks worse, its gonna be almost untunable (Honda's words) and....put simply, there are finally better options. I'l have to drive one to be 100%, but it can't be as fun as the Mazda3, especially the upcoming one with the Sky engine.

I felt Honda losing it a few years ago....maybe I' wrong.
