Ok now my dad just might get a Camaro. It's going to be a LS 6-speed in either orange, rally yellow, black and maybe Synergy Green :WINK: . I went to a chevy dealer nearby and we could get it for 22 exact before tax, registration, tags whatever. Already it sounds good.

BUT wait! there's more! My dad can get 3,700 off any new GM car and that brings the price to around 18k.
18 THOUSAND FOR A CAMARO! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!
Sure there are a few downsides though.
First off, I don't really like those wheels that are on the LS. They do look fine if the color of the car is black, but I'm not sure about any other colors.
Second and this is the one that caused me to damage another Camaro and break my neck was that getting into the rear seat is A FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS! And being only 5'9", I had a hard time getting in and out and my head was right on the roof when I sat down. If I sit in the back and we hit a bump, I'm screwed.

Better yet, I wouldn't really need to buy a car since I'm going to be getting a 2000 Toyota Camry CE (like I care now since I can drive a Camaro ) from my grandparents.
What do you think? Awesome deal or am I on something at the moment?

I say go for it. The rebate might be in lieu of interest rates so see which is beneficial for you. You might be better off taking the rebate in teh first place and just financing.
