The one in Michigan is actually a 2004 GTO and it's in Sterling Heights. But I don't think I would buy it now with the G8 on the table, thank you though.

With a GTO the 6.0L is the only way to go. And this is from a guy who owns and loves his LS1.

But you should just go with the G8 as we all know that's what you really want. Don't settle with anything else.:yeeees:

Just don't agree to buy it until you've seen the car. I mean, at the small chance something is wrong, the most you'll be out is a plane ticket.

You probably won't get the title immediately, the dealer will probably mail it to you. Once you get it just take it to the DMV like normal. You'll have to pay AZ sales tax. I'm sure they'll give you a temp plate that'll last for a few weeks, so you'll be fine for the drive home. Also, buy insurance for it before going to pick it up. The dealer will probably keep it covered, but just in case make sure you do also.

I know I would prefer to work with a dealer and I think that's what we will be doing.

And we won't be buying the one in Ohio (or any car for that matter) before we see it and both my dad and I drive it. We will put it on hold but that's it. Plus there are a few things we want the dealer to check first. The right front rim may be bent, it looks that way in some of the pictures,



so we'll try and get them to replace it free of charge if it is indeed bent. And the panel with the window switches has been popped out of place.



The same thing apparently happened to Edmund's long term G8 GT and it seems like it's an easy enough fix so we will have them take care of that too.

Yeah, I just checked out the bmv website and they agreed, os it should be just AZ tax.

But I think I see the rim, the arrowhead on the wheel is pointing straight up at it right?

The salesman checked the rim for us and it isn't bent, it's just a smear from when the tires were put on.

A decision has been made on a car, it could be a G8, GTO, or something else entirely. :: We haven't actually bought anything yet, that will happen once we get a chance to drive it, but we did put said car on hold and I should be picking it up a week from this Friday provided it doesn't fall off the face of the earth before then. Don't think I'll have to worry about that though.

Gotta say I'm jealous. I would have had a G8 myself now, but could justify buying one up here. I live in Ohio, so only have 7-8 months of being able to use how I would have wanted to. Not a big deal for someone like G8GPMike, but I don't make that much $.

I may just move to AZ myself.
