RE: Unofficial Top 10 Global Car Brand Sales
Really?? FIAT??????

Either they don't count all of their brands together or they sucked this year, the latter I know for a fact isn't true.

If Zuki sold in America like they're supposed to, they'd be a powerful force. Alas, they don't sooo...

I kinda remember hearing that they're insanely popular in places like India and Japan.

What cars does Suzuki even sell in America? Better question: when was the last time you saw a Suzuki on the road?wtf The last one I saw was at the Auto Show and the one before that was at the dealership. No one buys them. They're like Mitsubishi. You seriously forget they sell cars here still......sadly.

RE: Nissan blows by Honda in global automotive sales
^^^^
And the Escalade is in need of a refresh. It's not doing it. And it doesn't have real wood I hear. The steering wheel does, the other stuff is a no.

Suzuki sells the Kizashi (probably one of the greatest mid-size sport sedans), the SX4 (it's ok), the Grand Vitara (it's ok) and the Equator (Nissan Frontier based)

OK......so they don't sell anything then. And isn't the Kizashi the size of a Civic or Cruze? How is that midsize? Or am I thinking of something else..? idk

Its within inches of the Camry, so bigger than compact, smaller than midsize, but big enough to be considered midsize. If that makes any sense.....

And on a global scale, Suzuki is a force to be reckoned with, but for some reason could never get it right in America....

Liking the styling of the QX is like saying you like Anchovies. A VERY acquired taste. The Escalade may not be the best SUV, but its a top seller for a reason, one of which being it doesn't look.....(be nice) weird.

RE: The Unofficial Official Global Automotive Sales Thread
The QX sales have been pretty strong so people must like Anchovies. badass And again, Infiniti ain't for everyone to like. Their styling and "rawness" attest to that. badass And the Kizashi needs to figure out what it is. It's like a Jetta size car it seems. Too small for a midsize and would seem big to be a compact. They need to call it a compact.

RE: The Unofficial Official Global Automotive Sales Thread
It doesn't qualify as a compact, too big.

The QX sales could be higher, not even close to Escalade sales.

They need a new class then. IN-BETWEENS. That would make sense. laugh And the QX is selling well enough it seems. 3 students at school have one. What does a college student need with a big old SUV???? Beats me. Ask the guy with the R8 and CL 63 AMG also......:yeeees:

Suzuki sold around 1.2m in India alone last year...and VW owns 20% of them.

Kizashi is more of a compact.

RE: The Unofficial Official Global Automotive Sales Thread
I can't believe people are even paying 80k+ for a damn escalade. It's the same thing as an es350, a high end suburban and nothing more. And the reason it sells so well is because of the entertainment industry and movie industry. The LX and QX are by far way better built and better looking vehicles IMO.
