ReaganLogan;39211 Wrote:also, it only makes sense as GM knows they have some HUGE lage times in their release dates thanks to the UAW bankruptcy.

But the WSJ also reports that GM will be below almost every other maker on new model releases over the next 24 months with JokYota having the most new models

I don't see what Toyota is bring out other than the Prius MPV. Hyundai I do see since they basically over hauled the whole lineup in the last couple years, sans the Sante Fe and Veracruz.

Yea the Chrysler projections seemed pretty spot on. The 300C Hybrid has an MY2013 release and the 16 new models were all set for MY2011.

Yea the ATS thing looks sweet, I was just considering buying a G8 GT till my beloved Zeta comes out for MY2014(alongside the VF Commodore) so that makes things interesting to say the least.

If I had $26k to burn right now, there's a sweet GTO I found with very low miles. Man I wish I wasn't a student right now.

You can get a used G8 GT, with warranty, for slightly less than that in my area CG, trade in your GP and go for it as soon as possible :2thumbsup:

There were no changes done to that engine. The 2010's had 312HP all along.

It has nothing to do with RWD in snow, but the fact that I'm not driving cars as nice as those in this weather.

No Shit... but the 2010 Sticker said 304HP. The 2011 says 312HP.. thus I could then see that the car I was looking at was a 2011.laugh

I didn't at the time realize the 2011 were already out... so I never looked at the year until after I saw the HP number
facepalm

RE: New GM Products moved up on release dates?
so there is no change to the engine, then what is all the excitement about?

Here is something to note:

"About 12% of GM's U.S. vehicle sales in 2011 will be from "new or heavily redesigned vehicles," down from 40% in 2007"

So GM sales could stall for the year, while everyone else increases.
