The world of boutique sports car companies is a wild, wonderful and, in some cases, exceedingly weird place. How else can you explain the Tramontana XTR, a 2-passenger tandem seat supercar that could be one of the fastest vehicles in the world, if it reaches production. Powered by an 888-bhp Mercedes-sourced twin-turbocharged V-12 engine, power is sent to the rear wheels via an “ultra-rapid competition gearbox” – expect that to translate to something with paddle-shifters. The XTR should easily top 200-mph and accelerate from 0-60 mph in roughly 3.0 seconds. And when you consider the XTR’s lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum build, along with double wishbone suspension at each corner, the road holding of the XTR could rival track-day specials like the Radical SR8 RX and KTM X-Bow R.

Anyone in the mood for a comparison shootout?

I love pussy, I love bitches, dude I should be runnin' PETA.

Build it first. Then I'll give a shit.

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”
