[SRTChallenger-Man]

I went up to my local automall with my sister and girlfriend and test drove both a Challenger SRT8 and Camaro SS, and here are my full thoughts on the Challenger SRT8 now that i have gotten a quality drive. I have video as well

Challenger- First off it was a 2010 SRT8 auto in B5 blue with just 17k miles. If i had to pick one word to describe the Challenger it would be POWER, the hemi snorts, growls, moans, just during normal driving, it makes you very aware of what is under the massive hood, and simply sounds fantastic, me and my girlfirend both opted for no music so we could hear the Hemi sing it's glorius songs. Now of course driving a car like this without giving her hell is boring, so i gave her Hell, from a slow roll i buried my foot into the gas pedal and without any waiting the Hemi roars to life, throws you in your seat and within seconds i was out of room, and the brembos brought the 2 ton beast to a safe speed without a problem. The car begs to be driving hard all the time and with the sound it makes, its hard not too.

Driving feel- As most of you know the Challenger is no canyon carver but the suspension does a great job of absorbing bumps and staying glued to the road and you wouldnt think it weighs what it does as during normal driving i felt almost no body roll. I liked the steering feel, it was nicely weighted but could use more feel if say you were tracking the car, but for what most people use it for its just fine. The challenger is absolutely PERFECT for cruising and burnouts and light to light WOT blasts. Challengers are also loved by everyone, you get thumbs up, head nods from bikers and it even inspired a dude in a 90s camry to floor it as hes driving past us in the other lane.

Interior- As we know the Challengers interior design is simple but its very functional and looks good, and has a very nice quality feel to everything, and the SRT seats are great and holding you in place and being very comfortable. THe challenger is also wquite roomy inside as you dont feel cramped. But the low roofline gives you the feeling your in a cockpit driving something truely special. Visabilty up front is good, but its still a big car so parking lots can be tricky as you'll see me have to back up in one. In the back however you cant see much and have to be slow and really use your mirriors.

Overall- The Challenger is a great car with epic power and timeless looks as imo the lines on this car are as good as it gets. Sure it drinks gas, and is hard to park but in terms of pure fun and excitment theres somthing about a big Challenger thats hard not to love.

I saw a B5 blue Challenger RT classic with white stripes a couple of month's ago in Santa Fe and it made me wet myself. I am thinking about looking for one in the not too future. 3 Challenger's. I must be crazy!

So the dealer let you take this car out alone? Figured the girl videoing is your gf and the kid is... Your (or her) little sister? If so I find this Hilarious that a friend Dakota which has a SRT8 pulled up at a Toyota dealer but wouldn't let him drive the shitty FRS but let you out in this with double the horsepower and speed

Oh and dude... Pretty bad when you have a girl telling you that you need to 'step on it'. Typically with me they're screaming - SLOW DOWN!

Yeah it was my sis in the back and my Gf fliming and i think thats one reason he let me out in it cuase i had a young one with me and i talked it up real well too, so he believed that i had plans on buying it lol.

she was telling me to step on but it was always in the corners and i wouldnt risk it not being used to the power but i raped the straightaway! She got to drive it as well and she goosed it or floored it just about everytime Car was so much fun.
