Poor hank.. spent all that money on a boss LS and all he has to show for it is another asswhooping, a broken front splitter and his 5yo daughter hates him because she can't ride along with him on his way to the pea gravel factory for daddy daughter day.

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”

And why are some of you so excited that it still did not beat the 3 year old Shelby?

rofl

lmao.....

What the Fangirls don't realize is that this lap was done by Aaron Link. That says ALOT about this time.

The time itself is VERY impressive but don't think for a second that ANY mags will get anywhere close to that time. The Engineers and drivers GM and FORD uses make the Mag drivers look silly. FORD never posts lap times except for when Car and Driver gave the Shelby a really shitty track time. FORD used their driver and beat that time by 8 seconds just to prove a point.

So even tho' this is definately a very impressive time for the 1LE it will be less than impressive when the Mags actually do the drivin'.

Who cares. It will still be faster.

Get over it already.

All of a sudden Aaron Link is some sort of Camaro demigod rofl

Magical Camaro wielding prowess only he can possess rofl

LMAO......you can think I'm hating, or trying to diss the 1Le, or whatever you cheerleading ass wants to think. Aren't you happy your Master Casa is back???rockonrockonrockon

Comparing a time run by Aaron Link to a Car and Driver staff driver is laughable at best.

This is simply more GM Marketing for the humpers to cling to. Just like the ZLslo GM vids, no one in the Real world will be able to duplicate these times.

I wonder what kind of times it can run with optimal track conditions?

I'll tell you one thing, the grip in it from those giant tires is phenomenal, and with it's compliant suspension you never lose composure.

So shut the fuck up Ford fans, and shut the fuck up GM fans, and shut the fuck up everyone else. I am the only person here who has driven one on a track. So you all can suck one.
