Porsche is set to preview its plans for an additional Panamera model at the Paris motor show in September with the unveiling of a long-mooted estate version of its upmarket four-door saloon.

If there is sufficient interest in the Paris show concept, Porsche chairman Matthias Muller could grant it a definitive go-ahead as part of broader model expansion plans aimed at taking the company’s annual sales to more than 200,000 units by the middle of the decade.

hmm... a Panamera wagon sounds like a great idea. It would do away with the sedan's "hunchback" look and be more practical at the same time.

I hope Porsche makes it pretty.

I'm going to guess it will look like the Cayenne and the Panamera had a one night stand.

Well, most of the ugliness comes from the rear quarter view, so hopefully a different rear end will solve the problem, besides it would hard to make it's back any uglier... I hope.

That would look better than the sedan... minus the first gen Cayenne taillights.

Its a good looking car from the front to the end of the front door. Everything from the C-Pillar back just doesn't look good IMO.

I find the Panamera to be attractive but I can see what the fuss is about. It definitely needs some expensive OEM wheels and the right paint choice to look good. I once saw a base model in white and it looked like a whale. I'm curious to see what the wagon will look like.
