Lincoln will have features not available anywhere else. That trick panoramic glass sunroof will sell quite a few cars even though it is an expensive option. It is also exclusive which justifies the expensive to the clientele. Those that fall in love with the glass won't have other options (at least not immediately). I suspect the MKZ will do better than many expect and will sell more of the high end models than the current MKZ.

Now does this board care about that type of feature? Maybe not (probably not). Does the luxury market? Yes.

This is probably one of the last vehicles I would consider in its segment but I do like how you can get a 2.0L (the volume seller because Lincoln customers don't like to drive fast) almost completely loaded for the same price as a base E-class.

There are other cars with a panoramic glass roof, but none that pop the glass top and slide it back over the backlight glass to open up the entire roof. That's the unique trick. It gives convertible like openness with a light filled interior (open or closed) that is the definition of "ideal" for many women in their preferred interior decor.
