RE: EPA releases fuel economy figures for 2013 Chevy Spark
While I agree to an extent, Wings, I just don't see too many city dwellers even buying cars of any kind. I frequently go to NYC, and there really is no point to have a car there, just take the subway or a bus. The public transportation is pretty much dead on with their time schedule give or take a couple minutes. With garage parking costing quite a bit and having everything in pretty much walking distance makes city cars rather pointless, IMO. I personally don't see much of a point in any car smaller than a compact (Focus/Cruze/Corolla/etc) but that is just me. I don't know if you remember that article that was posted on here about how city dwellers and this newer generation do not care for cars much and see them as appliances, but that pretty much sums up where I'm making my case for the argument.

I love pussy, I love bitches, dude I should be runnin' PETA.

Understood. And although sales are still brisk for this class, there are some who want small, cute and cheap. Not too many cars you can buy new with warranty for ~$10-15K. I also think of my sis who lives in San Fran, where parking spaces are a premium, and you need small just to commute there. Even if she does not dwell there. That is well known in a city of millions. Small is the order of the day.

We can always argue their validity, but at the end of the day, they makes sense for some.
