Lexus says its next IS250 will be ''revolutionary"

RE: Lexus says its next IS250 will be ''revolutionary"
I'm curious to see what they will roll out. While a lot of Toyota and lexus' offerings have been very unappealing to me, I like the IS and I think they will do something decent with it, because like the dude said when you're a contender you can't just do evolutionary. Especially with Cadillac coming out with the ats, it's about to be a crowded and hyper competitive segment.

I definitely think Lexus can do it. The GS has been an excellent offering in its segment and the ES looks great as well. They know what they are doing. Some improvements to be made: updated Remote Touch, needs to be larger, better quality materials on the dashboard, more appealing interior design, better powertrain options. Can't wait to see what they have in store.

The only thing I like about Lexus is their DI 3.5L V6. It sounds like crap at idle but its real smooth and power delivery is great. The 2.5L is a dog. Their transmissions are ho hum, and their dynamics are....lacking.

I love pussy, I love bitches, dude I should be runnin' PETA.

yea, I thought the gs was suppose to be soooooo out there and yet it has the same engine as the old model, a six speed transmission and looks like a 5 series from the a-pillar on back.

So the grill will be "bolder", wow, call me not impressed.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Lol misspelled the word in all caps

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”

You were bragging to me about the GS topping the 5-series in Motor Trend's last comparison. Whose side are you on?

little virgin penis,

I wasn't "bragging" about the gs in the least.

the lexus brand has a history of over hyping and under delivering. The gs is just the latest example and the next is will be pretty much the same. Label whores like you will gush with excitement but those of us that can be level headed will yawn.

Revolutionary? Isn't that the word Pontiac used to describe the new Aztek?

Lexus said a long time ago that the platform that underpins the The new GS will be Used for the IS. Never heard of them using a petite FR-S platform. Just won't work.

You are dodging my question. I would also like specific examples of your claim that "the lexus brand has a history of over hyping and under delivering." And I know you will bring up the HS250. If they have a "history of over hyping" I need to hear examples of more than one.

For once, make a logical argument please.

I already gave you two: gs and hs250h! How about the current ls which never once outsold the s-class or 7 series even though it cost thousands less. Or while we are on the current ls, remember how toyota told us all the ls600h was going to redefine the luxury hybrid segment and yet they couldn't sell more than a couple hundred a year. Or how about the lexus auto parking system that doesn't really work(hell my $30k Ford Escape's system is better than the one sold in a lexus!).

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
