Last November Aston Martin reached the milestone of One Million facebook fans. To celebrate this landmark they offered, in a series of polls, the chance for their fans to specify a car from their current model range which they would then build as a permanent tribute. Initially fans chose the model - the DB9 - and then went on to choose the exterior and interior options before naming the car as the 'DB9 1M'. Earlier this year fans voted on the unique exterior finish and Aero was the winning design from the choices below.



Launched last week, in the company of some of their Facebook fans at the Aston Martin Gaydon Headquarters - the DB9 1M, a car designed by fans, built by Aston Martin!

The car marks the end of the commemorative campaign to celebrate reaching one million fans on Facebook in which Aston Martin gave fans, their facebook fans, the chance to specify their dream Aston Martin. Fans decided on all aspects of the car including the model itself to the interior trim and then finally choosing the exterior ‘Aero’ wrap.
