Considering how well the stock ZL1 competes with the GT500.... the HPE650 AND HPE700 will completely and utterly DESTROY the GT500, there will be no competition. I know there is a 1000hp tune for the Shelby and I would be very interested in seeing THAT car NOT hook up

This is also what happens when a company has a true supercar at the top of its performance line up, what could have been done from the factory is left to the tuners

You can take the 6 grand difference between the gt500 and ZL1 and buy a pulley and intake and pocket the rest lol

Its going to be FAR cheaper to make the ZL1 faster than to make the GT500 handle.

Because they have the ZR1 as their to tier car. Gm has never allowed a car more powerful then the Vette in their lineup and the one time they did,it beat the Vette. (Original ZL1 anybody?)
Ford doesn't have that limitation as they do not have anything above the Muslketang in terms of performance

You can't be so dense as to forget GM has the LS9 in its stable?

Hell the LSA is barely stretching out its capabilities. 700hp is easy even with the smaller blower.
