Catch here is we're not counting the '10/11s, so everything from the 1st gen to the '09 5th gen, which do you consider your favorite and why. There is no right or wrong, just don't give me a 1 liner or a quick sentence

I will truly be honest and say that I even like the damn Mustang II in some models!!!!

No way I can make a choice.

Down the road from me is a mid-80's 5.0 LX hatch in burgundy. It is stunning to me!!

In the end I will pick the latest iteration you have just to make a choice.

1969-70 is my favorite. 1967-68 is a close second. 1964-66 is third. 1974-78 is fourth. 1971-73 is fifth. After that, I could care less about the Mustang. Opps, my bad, 2005 to current is ok. 1979 - 2004 I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole.

The pic for the second gen is a 1971 Mach 1. Not a '74.

I love the Mach 1. So sexy.

1969-70, even though all of them are beautiful)
2) 5th gen
3) 4th gen
4) 3rd gen (only because of the 1987-93 models, otherwise 2nd gen gets this place)

4th gen cause of the looks and the Terminator!

I think the Mustang II kicked ass , With a crate motor in them . I might honestly go as far to say it's the best looking in my opion .

I agree with some of what tyrsmkr has to say about the Mustang ll. I liked the styling and when the 302 Cobra came along, it was a fun car to drive.

Well, I am happy to say that yes I too (as I had mentioned, btw) did like the Mustang II especially in the King Cobra model.

I will readily admit it was NOT the car that its predecessors were but I don't care, it was still to my liking.

Not far from the burgundy LX (mid-80's) is a black King Cobra. Given a choice I would take the LX but the KC is still pretty cool.
