This commercial for the Cadillac CTS starts off with the following: ”When it comes to sport sedans, the Audi A6 is faster. At depreciating.”

The first half of the intro sure as heck surprised us, but it all comes back to the fact that the CTS won the Edmunds.com best retained value award for sedans over $40,000

rockon

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”

Honestly there should not be a base CTS.... well to the degree that it is brickwall

I was at the GM dealer a little while back (when buying my car) and they had a base CTS on the lot with the 3.0L and of all things... it didn't even have dual exhaust rant

I love the CTS although it's getting way long in the tooth but... as for the car that I saw should be a big ole whatever rant

Yea the current CTS, unless it is the top level version with the 19in. wheels, kinda sucks. When the XTS and ATS launch, this CTS will be thrown back into oblivion until it's Alpha+ replacement comes. One that isn't so tall and frumpy.
