Nobody has ever asked this question before, but what is your favorite car ever?

There can only be one choice with this, so don't give lists of cars you really like. The car you pick cannot change, so pick the car you know is #1 to you.

It could be something you own already, something you are saving your money for, something that will be out of your reach forever, or something you used to own, but it has to be the one car that you know will never be topped in your heart.

Sure, there will be plenty of cars that could beat it, and there will be newer variants of it, but you will always love that one car.

1964-1974 Plymouth Barracuda/'cuda is my favorite car of all time. I have been hooked ever since the sixties and when my brother bought a '67 silver metallic Barracuda coupe from a neighbor in '71, I became fanatical over Plymouth's entry into the pony wars. However, I am in love with all things Mopar!

1987 Buick Regal Grand National. It was such an 'outlier' for its time, could whip many far more expensive and exotic cars, and looked thoroughly menacing while doing it. Still looks great today and I'd buy one in a heartbeat if the right opportunity came along. Not GNX either, they weren't available in Canada - I just love everything about the Grand National even after all this time.:yeeees:

Everyone knows my answer: Holden VE Commodore SS-V, and the American rebadge Pontiac G8 GT.

Ever since the VE debuted in 2006, I have always wanted it. When I first drove a G8 GT, I had to have one. Everything about it was awesome, even it's door locks (they sound like a bolt action rifle reloading). No other comparative car could come close for me. The E39 5-Series is a bit more austere, the Charger too artificial. The G8 was just a special car. I wasted a lot of time waiting for GM to bring out the VF, only to find out they are only bringing 1 variant, base price $40K, 999 imported the first year, and a Nascar backing. Makes me really want what I wanted in the first place.


I figured for some of you this would be one tough question. I had the feeling the more retarded posters (SD) would come into this thread posting a list.
