Clearly you are insane. Ford had HUGE help. It's called "screwing over your unionized workforce."

The 4 year contract signed last year worked out best for Ford employees, who only took a modest cut in pay, after being the highest paid in the industry, for the agreement that Ford promised like 10,000 new jobs in the coming years. They are already proving good on that.

I ask again, where is all this pain that Ford union workers feel?

And notice how doom skates RIGHT BY my remark about the many thousands who literally lost their ASS in GM stock, and other benefits taken from them, as well as soooo many jobs, and a lessor union deal.

Hey, I'm not saying GM and Chrysler guys never got a raw deal south of the border (I pulled out an epic win but oh well). But what a clever cat Mr. Mulally is, that he can put 26 mil in his pocket while his workers deal with the same wage package of companies that declared bankruptcy! And it's not like Ford's been a raging success under his tenure... after all, they're down to one brand, and they can't even catch GM in sales, while Chrysler sneaks up from behind...

GM owns a sales lead over a company that supposedly has more goodwill with the buying public. I suspect they find that to be no small consolation.
