"We would do no good to the brand if we were to lose traditional Porsche customers," Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller said to a German newspaper. Muller failed to elaborate on how a small, basic (still $35,000+ most likely) car would hurt their customer base but that is likely the final word we'll hear on the subject for the foreseeable future.

I was going to say that..

Please dont be a money whore like BMW. Im glad they get it

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”

Thank goodness. The Boxster is already the entry-level Porsche.

I too say thank you to this, but I am very curious as to how the Pajun would have come out of the oven.

I'll be the voice in the wilderness and say that I think that a new 356 would have been a cool idea.

I'll be the first to admit that there are some things the F-Series does better than the Silverado. And by that I mean "donate it's back axle to the company's sporty car."
