The technology looks impressive but at that price tag i am highly skeptical of the commercial viability of EV vehicles. The Dolt and Leaf aren't doing to hot and Hybrids are losing their popularity amongst consumers.

You haven't sat in a Tesla Model S have you?
I'm speculating its initial sales will be hot then fall down a cliff. It's interior and infotainment are the textbook definition of "half-assed" and "cheap." A Camry has a better-built interior than the Model S. A 15 year old Mercedes navigation system is more responsive to input than Tesla's "iPad." The Model S falls short of everything customers demand in a 5-series, E-class, A6, and GS. The Model X may wind up being the same.

I sat in the Model X at the unveiling in Torrance. Trust me, this thing is worlds better than a frakking Rav4 The Rav4 isn't even on the same planet as a Model X, frak, it shouldn't even be allowed on the same streets as the Model X!
