Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo was "speechless" after he got up-close-and-personal with the 2013 SRT Viper recently, according to Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne in a Detroit radio interview on Tuesday.

"The car is a superb machine," Marchionne, the chairman and CEO of the Chrysler Group, told WJR-AM radio, according to a transcript of the interview posted on the Chrysler Web site. "I had the chairman of Ferrari down here for the board meeting last week and he had a chance to look at the car, and he was speechless. I mean, for Ferrari to admit that the car is a unique vehicle is a hell of a compliment to the work that's gone on here. So I'm delighted. I mean, so far, knock on wood, we're doing well."

I think he just shat himself knowing that this car will continue the ass whopping on Ferraris that the old one gave them and increase it ten fold.

I'd say that Luca's first thought was "so this is what a car designed by actual people looks like!" I don't care that the F12 Berlinetta will be quicker and faster than the Viper. It's ugly.

As ya'll may already know I don't like Chrysler but my jaw dropped and pants split upon upon seeing the Viper. Very few cars live up to the hype. I was excited to see the Viper and knew I'd get giddy over it but not the extent I actually did.
It's a HELLA sweet car.

It looks far more beautiful than the majority of european GTs. Honestly, one of the best looking cars of this century.
