You're totally missing the point of Lingenfelter's mods. In reality, what the customer is paying 12 grand for isn't GT500 performance, they're paying 12 grand because of GM's internal politics with the Corvette. If Lingenfelter REALLY wanted to match the GT500 he'd have saved a coupla grand off the price by putting in a truck axle.

Butthurt? Nope, it's GM politics. The truth hurts, man. As Angus MacKenzie said in that video where the Subaru totally beat the Mustang Track Pack "raw numbers do not necessarily make a good driver's car." And that's definitely the case with the Mustang.
