With the recent trademark filing of the "SS" moniker, it confirms that as I envisioned this will be the next new Chevy.

That Holden 60 is sexy. Stingray, I don't think you are far off but I think the tail lights will be square and not dual circles.

A likely scenario is that SS will be the name of an upcoming rear-wheel drive performance sedan that will ride on General Motors’ Zeta platform.

"Chevrolet hinted at this last month when it announced that its 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup car will wear a new moniker that will also be used on a production car.
At the time some thought that the next-generation Impala might be called something else, but the 2014 variant of the car bowed in New York, and it still wears its storied nameplate.

Bob Lutz even hinted at a rear-drive range-topping Chevy sedan back in 2010.

I AM BETTING ON A COUPE...as it is the "missing link" in the current Chevy Lineup !

the reason seems quite obvious to me anyway :

why ?...because both a new MC or a Mali 2 door would be competing with the SS Coupe !!!!

The first half of your post you were preaching to the choir.

I understand your guys' point, but Z2SC is not a coupe. If you want a coupe, reskin the current Camaro after the Alpha based version comes out. Call it the Chevelle.

Well I based my designs here on the CTS-V coupe....so, that dose seem a viable Chevy SS, to me anyway. What GM will do I do not know, seems however that this is the right general "direction" tho.

Yeah the Holden IS basically the same car as the CTS-V anyway, so it all really makes sense to offer a Chevy performance coupe, call it whatever you like, it WILL Sell by the boatloads !!!
