I kinda want to see it happen.

On one hand, I don't, because I could see them fucking everything of value(?) out of Saab, pretty much old GM tech.

On the other hand, I kinda want to see that Phoenix project they were planning.

Wow, that is a damn low price for an admittedly pretty well worn and beaten down automaker.

I am surprised there aren't any other suitors (that I've heard) in at that level of investment.

They call me Ford-O Baggins.

Must have the PRECIOUS!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about that to be honest... the hings that they could learn about GM tech are no different than they would learn if they went and bought a 9-3, 9-5, and 9-4 and took it apart. The patents stand.

That seems like quite a high price for an automaker that consistently posts losses... But I don't know anything about business.

It is.. essentially for the name. It may automatically buy them a gateway into the U.S. tho.. which could, using CHEAP chinese (I typed it in lower case outta disrespect)... end up paying for itself.

Ah... I see. Kind of like how SAIC are using the MG name as an easy gateway into the Euro car market.
