Photo credit: Volvo April 16, 2012 By: CF staff Volvo will offer a four-cylinder engine in the United States this fall for the first time since the 2004 model year. The first vehicles to use the new 2.0-liter Volvo-designed engine will be front-wheel-drive versions of the S60 and S80 sedans, the XC60 crossover and the XC70 wagon, Volvo Cars of North America CEO John Maloney said in an interview. The engine is based on the new Volvo Environmental Architecture family of four-cylinders that eventually will replace all of the automaker's five- and six-cylinder engines. Reviews |
