I would steal that car were it RWD. Of course it isn't, so I don't care nearly as much.

As least I have an idea of what Z2SC could look like.

Oh 4GODSAKE... admit that U think the car is sexy as a mofo and move on... the fact that it isn't RWD will do little to kill the fact that with it's architecture it will still handle as well as any Charger or 300c.

You cannot tell me the car wouldn't look better with a shorter front over hang and longer dash-axle ratio. As for comparisons with the LXs, if they offer the Haldex AWD and the upcoming 3.0TT, along with HiPer struts and FE3 suspension then it could.

I think the upcoming Commodore will look similar to this, but we'll wait till the fall to see. This new corporate grill looks easier to interchange with a Holden grill.
Poop?

wtf

laugh Ok Casa, im gonna have to WAIT AND SEE on that one. No doubt that it will handle great... but the Charger/300c are BEASTS.

Not saying it isnt possible, I just refuse to believe it until this car comes out and I give it a test drive.

I've driven the new Charger, Challenger, and 300c... in every form except the V6 form.. and while they handle decently... I do not think they handle any better than an SHO. And Impala with the right hardware... on Epsilon II will equal or better the current vehicles I just spoke of.

Cadillac UNLIKE BMW.. provides RELIABILITY with their ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINES... unlike Lexus.. provides ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINES with their RELIABILITY.

The interior is amazing in that car. Soft touch leather everywhere and a huge trunk. I couldn't get all the way inside and actually feel around it so far so good.

I love pussy, I love biatches, dude I should be runnin' PETA.

People still call them imports? Hell, even VW's are made in the States now. Audi is opening a plant here soon. Mercedes and BMW are already here, along with the Asians that have been here for years. Is that still considered "imported"? Honest question......especially since cars are such a global thing these days.

Foxconn makes iPhones, does that mean they are Chinese?

Of if freely starts building cars here are they now an American company.

Why waste your time on an idiot who still thinks this way despite far too many conversations about it? Ignore and move on...:yeeees:

Agreed... the guy is a WHORE with a capital W-H-O-R-E.badass He has some deluded belief that foreign companies actually give two shits about Americans... like they are here because they love us. They are here because right now we need the labor jobs.. and because of that its cheaper to hire us than hire their own IG Metal workers. GM should do the same.. build Opels here instead of Europe. Profits would soar. Ask yourself WHY the Volt/Ampera are being made here instead of Europe.

I don't understand all the hatred for a simple question. But to each their own I guess......:ifyousayso: Impala is still nice tho.

The rear end looks like a weird mix of Audi A7 and Hyundai Sonata, the front end looks like a weird mix of Volkswagen and Honda Accord, the side looks like a beefed up Volkswagen Passat, although the side of the Passat looks nearly identical to the current Impala.

The thing with the Impala is it mixed in its own cues and made all these little things work together in better harmony than most other companies have done. BTW, in case nobody noticed, the difference between this new corporate grill and the old Chevy corporate grill, the center bar had the middle cut out and is now 2 separate chrome bars on the top and bottom of the Chevy bowtie.

I see the chrome for the side window surround has a matte finish, kinda like how the ATS' chrome galvano trim is like.

Well it doesn't look like the Impala is on my list of future purchases. I wouldn't have minded an AWD V6 Impala, would have been like my Equinox in car form, a sort of rolling sanctuary. The AWD meant I could have gone through snow like a hot knife through butter.

Well, there is always Z2SC that will ruffle my feathers.

Stop asking stupid frakking questions. coffee

The end.

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”

See... I'm mixed on this. IF it were RWD based I would understand the issue of it not having AWD.. but with FWD's issues now being squashed with various techs, and modern traction control... I fail to see where this would influence the majority of buyers. IF.. there is an SS version I would, for the sake of, possibly, better from the point of top end performance reconsider the position.

That being said I do believe that GM is distancing the Impala from the Lacrosse and XTS by doing this, but I don't think that the lack of it will effect sales one bit. Having AWD in a low-center of gravity car versus a higher CUV simply is not the basis of a proper argument IMO.

Unless Chevy provides a performance model of the Impala.. as far as performance contests... I'm absolutely inclined to agree. But I don't think that AWD will be the reason for that. The current Impala with just FWD and 300HP in SS form and archaic FWD at that was damn near as fast as the AWD SHO.. packing 65HP less.

It's ok, a RWD GM performance sedan will wipe it's ass with the SHO.

Wait and see. badass

The SHO is irrelevant anyway. coffee
