Finally test drove a Challenger SRT8! (video)
Just took a 09 Challenger SRT8 for a drive, it was an auto, with 26k miles, and all i can say is WOW, they have some get up and go, i stomped it on the on ramp and was approaching illegal speeds within seconds, pulling away from lights the torque just sends you forward with out any hesitation. The car rides fantastic, not bouncy or too stiff. The brakes, do i even need to explain.... The best part however is the wail of that big hemi, it is unmatched im terms of awesomeness, the engine just loves to thrashed and never once seemed stressed. Another cool thing is everyone looks at you, and gooses it at the lights just to see if you'll gun it for them, the challenger is unmatched in smiles per mile.
i have a couple vids ill post later. This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines. Yeah, it’s halftime America.
