Six out of 10 Millennials say they would prefer to buy a hybrid or electric car over any of kind of car or truck. That finding in a new study from consultants Deloitte bodes well for automakers who are trying to get the public to consider electric cars.

Hybrids hold an overwhelming edge over pure electrics in the survey. More than half say they would favor gas-electric hybrids, but only 2% would consider a pure electric, found the survey of 1,500 Gen Y, X and Baby Boomer buyers.

I prefer a strict gas burner and the three pedal shuffle along with RWD if possible. I don't mind having a RWD mild-hybrid sports car with a proper manual though.
