A House panel investigating the government's handling of an investigation into fire risks in the Chevrolet Volt has asked General Motors CEO Dan Akerson to testify next Wednesday.

A panel of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hear testimony from the government's top auto safety regulator, David Strickland, who heads the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Akerson, who is also GM's chairman, hasn't decided yet whether to accept the invitation to testify, the company said Wednesday.

I know I like poking fun at the Zolt but this here is BULLSHIT.

Those mother frakkers can't agree on a budget but they have time to question him about the Zolt which none of them understand anyways. America will soon be a 3rd world country.

The government shouldn't step in to this. Such Bullshit...

They need to get back to work instead of BSing around.

Nevermind, all they do is BS.

+1

“The build sheet is the wish list of any racer: lightweight high-revving dry-sump LS7 engine; carbon-ceramic brakes; integrated coolers; true aerodynamic downforce, and a significant reduction in curb weight. This car could only come from Chevrolet, and could only be called the Z/28.”
