U really are out the loop...

First and foremost I love this interior design. I actually think it's retro influence is spot on and I receive many many compliments on it... but the new Camaro line.. including the ZL1 got updated for 2012:

Well... the Camaro 'Vert's looks are starting to grow on me (kinda like fungus growing on trees) but I sure hope GM got a handle on that fucked-up roof mechanism. Apparently one of the metal ribs in the roof cannot handle the stress of opening and closing at temperatures below 45 degrees. There's a shitload of complaints on the web about this; the rib bends and then the roof cannot maintain integrity. I had a guy in here last week telling me the roof on his car has now been replaced 4 times and each time, the problem has recurred. He now wants GM to buy the car back under the Lemon Law.

As for the dash design - I think it's horrible. I've never liked it. I still maintain that if GM wanted to do a retro interior, they could have used the 1971 design instead. It's a thousand times better.
