Peaches gave me a good idea for a thread(Believe it or not).

We already have threads about why you like your car, what you drive and what not... but not how is it fun? One of the biggest factors we bought our car. It has to be fun somehow!

So car fanatics, how is YOUR car fun?

I'll post what I already said

I just find my truck fun.
I know it's a truck and is regarded as such,but for a truck,it handles good.
Which it should,has the ZQ8 sport suspension and it's low to the ground.
Also has wide tires
Slightly Wet roads make for fun too. So easy to do a controlled spin and slide

I find my truck fun because it doesn't look like a corner carver, but the stiff suspension, quicker steering box and thick anti-roll bars make it surprisingly fun to drive. It's also fairly easy to kick the rear end out in the wet. Not to mention the 2 subs in the back make it fun.

Main reason I like mine is its connected to the road you can feel what's going on, its direct with its steering, and handles tightly and doesn't wallow about, and its pretty fun in the snow, especially with the handbrake. :WINK: And its also fun because I can wring her out and not break the speed limit.

9.30 @ 77 mph in the 1/8 mile, 14.50 @ 97 mph in the 1/4 mile, getting 30 mpg on numerous trips to Charleston SC and Florida. Yea I know that's not exactly fast but we're talking about a midsize FWD 4-door that's pretty comfortable for those necessary trips.

Fun with a car to me is a bit unconventional but rewarding:

1. dirt cheap to own and paid for
2. fantastic economy (relates to #1)
3. hauls things that it shouldn't - bonus usefulness
4. tight turning radius/maneuverability
5. trailer hitch (like #3)
6. TONS of character
7. great in snow
8. mechanically perfect from reliability perspective
9. easily modded/autocross potential
10. black

Combine all these and you get the most fun car in the world in my book.
