FUCK THAT.......I'll drive a Camry, Civic, Hyundai or whatever before I get on a bus. Anyone who refuses to drive a "insert car brand here" and then walks to the bus stop, waits 15 mins. and then rides another 45 mins. just because of the badge on that car either can't afford to own a car or is a fool.

Nope... I owned a Camry for 3 months and absolutely hated that car - and there was nothing wrong with it. It just was what it was. And my point is that I dislike the Camry so much - for many reasons (my dislike of the car goes way back before I ever was involved in any automotive forums) - that I would find an alternative before I would willingly drive one for personal use.

And if a Camry was the only option available to me because of economic reasons, then yes I would take a bus and save more money so I could afford a more expensive alternative.

My family did 2-3 leases on brand spankin' new GM vehicles for over a decade. We went through at least 10+ models that were a headache to own.
I would still drive a GM vehicle over taking the bus, unless of course public transportation is really freakin' good where I live and has wifi and gets me to school quicker than sitting in traffic in a car would :2thumbsup:

I drove a brand-new 2012 Camry XLE V6 last month in a back-to-back comparo with the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Turbo and the 2013 Nissan Altima.

To say the Camry was underwhelming and a major disappointment would be an understatement.

Didn't drive one but got to spend some time with a few of them yesterday.
Overall, It feels like your typical Camry. Nothing too flashy, nothing too out-of-the-ordinary, but it does everything just about right. It is the perfect car for A to B travel and sales reflect that. I like it.
Long live the People's Champ!
