Here what I wrote on Autoblog to people comparing the Dart and the 2013 Fusion to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.

I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person, but it looks pretty good and definitely has the potential to shake up a pretty boring market segment.

I hate to say it, but the best looker in the segment at the moment IMO is the Kia Optima so I'd like to see the D3 give it a run.

Only problem with 'bold' designs is that sometimes they don't age too well...

It seems like every with new D3 product some dumbasses say it looks like a lancer, they did it with the charger too, and the only even similar thing was the black part of the front bumper on SOME SRT8s.

I thought the Fusion was pretty conservative (in a good way) really, but it's subjective.

I'm still not sold on the style. I understand Ford wants to unify their cars around the world, but why can't they give them some American flair, not all the Euro look.
