Road signs hit by hackers pose dangers
[Image: hacked-roadsign.jpg]
Quote:Call it electronic graffiti if you must, but computer hackers are attacking portable roadside signs all over the United States, posting messages that range from fall-down funny to downright bigoted.

Some of the messages posted on signs across the nation include: "klaatu barada nikto" (as a sci-fi fanatic, this is my personal favorite), "trapped in a sign factory," "send help; UFO crossing ahead," "Youll never get to work on time," "Ha Ha" and "Honk if youre wearing a thong."

Zombies are not only hot on TV and movies, they're also a favorite of road sign hackers. To wit: "Nazi zombies ahead," "Watch for falling rocks and zombies," "Zombie, will work for brains" and "Caution, zombie stripper."

I have always wanted to do it. I just don't want to go to jail for it.

The best there was and the best there ever will be.

I wish they had one on I95, because down here the highway between the two exits for my city has been torn up for about 6 months now with seemingly no progress. So I want one to say "Don't count on this getting fixed soon".

Thats why I am happy I live closer to I4. Much smoother.

I like I4, especially at night in Orlando. I've gone through there with little traffic at about 80, and because it isn't for the most part a straight line it's pretty fun.
