 Ralph Gilles himself said he wanted the Viper to be more easily controlled by normal drivers.... an auto version would certainly fit that bill Id still opt for the manual personally, but how many supercars out there dont have an auto trans option with paddle shifters? Imo the viper is the last true drivers sports cars , its never had a auto nor should it now.
