So I take a day off during the week and look at what happened!

I show up to TWO Boss 302's sitting in front of the showroom. Both cars have the Recaros. The Comp Orange car is fucking SWEET!

It's gloss black. Boss 302's are not available with the glass roof.

As a Ford Nut through and through, I can honestly say that the Boss gets my heart pumping almost as much as the GT used to. In all honesty, since the Boss is a lot closer to my ability to actually own I might say the Boss is even sweeter!!!!

That is until I see a GT out and about, and my opinion again reverses course.

Well, the word from the top brass is that the looks of the 2013 Mustang are changing substantially, it looks a lot meaner - so the Boss next year will still be the ultimate "track car" Mustang but it will look like a Shelby. Even the base GT gets the hood vents of the Shelby!

As for the GT500, I love the car (we have one on the showroom floor) but it's almost too much car for the street. As I am the kind of guy who will hunt down a twisty road, I'd be much happier with a Boss in day-to-day situations.

Only thing I wish Ford would do is make the Boss available in Grabber Blue. But barring that, and since Blaze Yellow tricoat is no longer available thanks to the earthquake/tsunami, I'll take the Comp Orange car with the Recaros. It is the definition of SHA-WEEEEEET!!!

Damn. I vowed to spend less money on my next car than I did on my previous two, but this one is making it hard. I wonder how used 2012s are going to price in the spring of 2014.

I'll take the white. I'm not into orange really, or rather that shade of it. I love the Boss, that is the only Mustang that I like.

Good... because in all honesty I'll take the orange one (only because the Boss isn't available in Grabber Blue).

BUT - when we had our Mustang show last month, I saw the car in Blaze Yellow tricoat for the first time and... OH. MY. GAWD!!! That color is awesome!

There's an new orange one just like that at the Ford dealer in Auburn over here. Looks sick. The white looks good too... and the gold one... hmmmm, some sort of pattern here.
