Does it even matter??? Anyone going into a Cadillac dealership... NO.. make that Caddy, Bimmer, Benzo, Audi, or Jag dealership.. and EVEN LOOKING... at a base model.. needs to have their asses carted the frak out of the showroom Lickity SPLIT.

The only question I have... is will it match what other makers are doing in the segment to be competitive? Any buyer who goes in the showroom and isn't informed immediately.. if they ask... that the 3series they are shopping against the ATS comes with Leatherette as well.. (if this is the case for the ATS) deserves to have that salesman miss the board.

I already know which ATS I want. 2.0T with the Y42 and Y44 packages. (LINKETY LINK TO THE OPTION PACKAGES)

VALUE is inherit and obvious with the INCLUSION of the 2.5L.

GM needs to continue to sell trucks... in order to sell trucks.. GM needs to have a CAFE'er friendly volume vehicle. The 2.5L is for the 80% of the people out there who want a CADILLAC name on their car.. nice handling.. nice packaging... probably like their BMW counterparts.. don't have a clue which wheels are being driven.. BUT.. could care less about 0-60 sprints from stop light to stop light. AGAIN... I bet U won't see many of these ATSs... 2.0L, 3.6L, or even V.. at the track. The same goes for brand new 328s, 335, or M3s.

OH.. and the 2.5L is being offered because Cadillac is going global... BMW offers the 320i in there home country... why should the American Caddy intend-er be left out if they don't want the Turbo.

GAAAAWD!!! I wish U would take a marketing class... or get a reality check. EVERY FUCKIN BUYER OUT THERE IS NOT LOOKING FOR A RWD, BIG POWER car. Look at U... again U could have gotten a G8 GT... yet U bought an Equinox.
