Remote entry, magnetic suspension, full leather interior available, premium sound, nav... basically the exact same stuff offered on every other highline sports car including most Porsches, the BMW Z4 and the Mercedes SLK that were mentioned.

ZL1 have all those stuffs too but is it luxury? NO. Any car with mainstream (Chevy) badge isn't a luxury.

Well... if all you are is a badge snob then you are correct. But almost all "luxury" sports cars - Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche - are fairly spartan inside. The few luxuries they offer can be found on just about any mainstream midsize sedan. The badge itself doesn't add any functional luxury to the car, it just adds status.

And stratospheric maintenance costs.
