I fondly remember by GSXR 1000cc, back in 2002. It was impressive at around 164hp, when spun really fast. Of course torque was less than half that number. But that bike could really move out. My buddy knew bikes back then, and jetted and tuned that thing even faster. Made some impressive sound too.
Anyway, the idea of a dense little motor in the Fiesta, will make anyone feel a little like Ken Bloch. That is the only way I would drive a turd in that class, with lots of power to get out of the way. Nice job Ford. And the fact that it will get hybrid like fuel economy, is not a bad thing either. ======= "genuine Mexican build quality" -vice of the dumb |
