So I am currently in the market for a new vehicle. I am looking into either a Ranger, or S-10, probably 4 wheel drive. What do you guys think? Which would you suggest, and why? Are there certain years with either group to stay away from? My price range is around 3k ish. Which puts something too new out of ky price range.

Well from what I see on fueleconomy.gov you'll get 17-18 in a 4x4 Ranger or S10...versus 15 in a Grand and what, 21 in your car?
You're still looking at a 20% decrease from 21 to 17...

If you get a 4banger get it with a Manual.
Automatic 4cylinder trucks are WEAK

I didn't realize they were that bad...and lately I'm lucky to get 21 but well thats just my car dying ha...
But i don't really wanna go with a 2WD because of winters...
