Looking to recapture some of its past luster, Cadillac showed renderings of a concept car that will appear at a 2013 auto show.
The car is an attempt for the brand to "reflect back not for nostalgia, but what made us great at the time," said Clay Dean, Cadillac director of advanced design.

I've enjoyed the A&S motif over the last decade, but it's never a bad time to freshen things up.
Unless of course the new design language is just terrible.

I don't think this is gonna be too different from the current design language. The sharp edges still remain.

As they should, as far as I'm concerned. When you see a Cadillac coming nowadays, you can tell. That's something worth holding on to. I think Cadillac's styling language lately has been doing a good job of setting it apart from the rest of the class.

If they did a full on retro take on the 59 Eldorado, that would be something worth seeing. It would probably look awful...

As long as they don't water down A&S into something like a stupid looking Lincoln, they'll be fine. I'm looking forward to this!
