The tiny three-cylinder engine is likely to feature twin sequential turbocharging to boost its output from an already impressive 123bhp to as much as 177bhp – an unprecedented figure for such a small engine. It was impressive at around 164hp, when spun really fast. Of course torque was less than half that number. But that bike could really move out. My buddy knew bikes back then, and jetted and tuned that thing even faster. Made some impressive sound too. Anyway, the idea of a dense little motor in the Fiesta, will make anyone feel a little like Ken Bloch. That is the only way I would drive a turd in that class, with lots of power to get out of the way. Nice job Ford. And the fact that it will get hybrid like fuel economy, is not a bad thing either. He used to have a lot of problems with the valves in that car, and a few times did the work himself. No need for a hoist to pull the engine out with that car. LOL Crazy good power from this EB motor. Should pull very well, and still get outstanding mileage. Can't wait to see it here.
