The American public is plenty aware of Lincoln. They have fallen out of favor in the sense that the volume of sales has dropped. However, they remain the best choice for people that want a high (and in some years/cases - highest) quality of luxury at the best price and value.

But it has not been that long of a time when Lincoln was the volume leader in sales in this country, in the luxury brand market. It won't take such a huge leap for them to achieve that status again.

To paraphrase Mark Twain,"The rumors of Lincoln's death have been grossly exaggerated".

Americans want to love Lincoln, far more than they want to love a freaking Korean brand, and even a japanese brand.

Lincoln product, after some recent rethinking, is beginning to com on line, and once the voids are filled, people can love Lincoln again, and sales will follow.

It is that freaking simple.

Companies today that are targeting the youth are successful. I am a young guy, and have never, ever heard anybody even remotely near my age even mention Lincoln positively or negatively. The brand seems nonexistent to younger buyers.

On the other hand, everybody knows about the European and Japanese luxury brands. Even Cadillac.

However, I am not discounting that Lincoln can be relevant again. I'm just refuting your statement that "Americans want to love Lincoln more than japanese and korean brands." You are essentially claiming that Lincoln is relevant in the mind of consumers, which it is not.

If Buick can be popular again, so can Lincoln.
