I never thought any site, let alone one that has so much traffic, would post such a horrible rendering. That's before we acknowledge that they used the wrong car for the rendering.

Here is my rendered speculation

Autoblog's rendering looks like a better-executed version of my rendering.

Why do they want to use the frakking 6.0?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

What are you talking about Peaches... they were just listing the engines used by the current Zeta sedan being sold here to police stations... and what the G8 came with... its safe to say the 6.0L is gonna be an option

The 6.0 is a Holden specific engine. If anything, the SS will get the LS3.

then why did the G8 have the 6.0L and why does the current Caprice have the 6.0L if its "Holden specific"


Now, if this is to have one single engine option... then the LS3 will be the one for sure

Autoblog didn't render that Chevy SS. Theophilus Chin did. And if anybody doubts his abilities as one of the world's premier master choppers, then they need to have their head examined.

The quality of his rendering is excellent, not "shittier". Grafting the latest Chevy front end onto a Holden Caprice sounds like a no-brainer, even though the real thing will probably be quite different.

I do doubt his abilities and I believe this Mr. Chin needs to have his head examined if he actually believes that rendering could be considered what the upcoming SS would look like.

Burg, never doubt me. I have followed this car down to the last detail for 3 years. Mr. Chin is a Mr. Retard. He not only used the wrong car for the chop, but in my opinion did not even try to render the SS. All he did was throw an Impala grill onto a WM Caprice. Even I could do that, and I don't even know how to use half the gizmos on my telephone.

The front end of the upcoming Commodore will draw cues from 3 cars. Cruze, Camaro, and Volt. What else draws cues from those 3 cars? The new Impala. ?'s chop, albeit using a base model Omega, was much more accurate because he at least incorporated the sort of headlights most believe VF will have.


SS will look like a VF Commodore SS-V with a bowtie. The side will retain most of the current VE shape, with the front and rear changed heavily to reflect newer Holden-Chevy cues.

Whats the big deal, practically every Zeta car looks the frakking same anyway

It's styled from 2006. The chassis is still up to today's standard. That's what I care about.

Not every car needs scallops and scoops and rakish profiles and random BS all over the place.
