I don't know if this is the correct place to put this, but why not. My employeer has ask all of us to aid in finding Mechanics. We are extremely short because of the oil boom. I know we are in currently in need of 5, esp. Diesel, and Transmission specialists. The dealership is currently building an additional service building and once that is completed we will be in need of 14 additional techs. So if you are interested or know some that that is looking for work, please have them contact Bob Campos at Westlie Ford in Minot ND. (701)-852-1354.

***Side note...If there are GM/Chev., Toyota or Dodge Techs looking I know that Ryan Chev. and Minot Dodge/Toyota are also in dire need of help.***

another reason I wish I could have finished school... I was training to be an Auto/Diesel techbrickwall
It's never to late to go back. I made a career change at age of 34 to go into this field. Hours are long right now, but it doesn't bother me, since I live so far from wife...Just making a lot of money to send home. Right now Diesel is in the biggest demand...I'm fully certified, but sadly stuck on gas side right now, because everyone is coming out with only diesel certs. And since I got certs in everything under the sun and am the only one with gas, that is where I was put. Don't mind it though...there work is a lot easier.
Oh, and if money is the issue in finishing school. I know some shops that are even in more need of help in the smaller towns like Stanley and Williston that are willing to sponor people and pay for a bulk of their schooling if they sign a contract to stay on for a while and not leave for the patch right away.
Thats not a bad idea honestly
