They picked up the Raptor this morning and dropped of this little gem.

Has the V6 performance package:

Cloth Recaro seats are FANTASTIC!

The V6 is very strong and makes righteous racy sounds:

The interior is nice, if a little behind the times (no USB and the stereo is pretty basic '90's digital)

This is what most drivers will see, unless of course they've opted for a V8 pony car:

I only have this one until Monday, when they swap it out for a convertible, but first impressions are very, very good. The manual is a joy to drive, clutch is so linear and easy to learn. Shifter is firm, you need to manhandle it a bit on 1 -2 and it's the first I've seen where you push the whole thing down to engage reverse.

I'll probably combine my final review into a single one for the two versions of the 'Stang, but boys and girls, this is a SWEEEET ride!

Took it for a good ride tonight. Its average after 3,600 km is 11 litres/100, exactly the same as the Grand Prix (21 MPG give or take). 6th gear on the highway is just about bang on 2000 rpm - nice easy cruiser. It's so easy to balance this one on a grade - that extra torque makes all the difference and the clutch is so much better than the Focus.

It's going for a road trip tomorrow and a visit to Legendary Motorcars to see what vintage sheet metal they have in their fine showroom!:2thumbsup:
P.S. I will also stick up for my photographer, who took these pics for me and did so out of the goodness of their heart. Wings, you can well and truly be a prick sometimes.
I like the rear of the car, the interior is lacking but it works. I could never stand the feel of the shifter in the regular Mustangs.

Wow.

I guess my sense of what is considered a little joke, flys under the radar at times.

Or are we just a bit sensitive.

Either way, I apologize.

The seats look great.

How do they feel?

Very comfortable. Longer drive to do today - about 2 hours in total so we'll see if 'initial comfort' wears off or not. I've never liked leather, and this cloth is so grippy it feels like it'll hold you in place no matter how crazy you get with this thing.
